So we parked the Car and Entered " FLAMINGOS ". I getting ready to Move to " THE GRAND STRAND " ! For more than a DECADE ,I always took MY Vacation in Mrytle Beach ! To me Myrtle Beach was the Finest Beach Resort in AMERICA ! What I am about to tell you is 100% TRUE ! First time a friend and I decided to do a " GOLF GETAWAY " !Of course the Golf Courses are Second to NONE ! BUT Dining was almost Overwhelming ! By a MIRACLE ONE NIGHT my friend and I happened to Pass by '" FLAMINGOS GRILL " ,we decided to try this Ultra Cool Restaurant. He even offered some suggestions on some items that were NOT on the menu. This week my server, Hibe was truly EXCEPTIONAL!! (I ate here every night) He would offer GREAT suggestions on what I should order. They demonstrated a genuine concern about making certain everything was right. After my meals, either Julie the manager or sometimes the owner would stop by the table and ask how was my experience. Not only is the food amazing but the service is great. I was right! Since then, every time I come to Myrtle, I eat here.
The outside of the building made me think it was a cool place to go. I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants and was looking for something local. The first time I came to the area, I was staying at a hotel a few blocks from here and was looking for a place to eat. This is a GREAT place to eat! I travel here for business on a regular basis.
